Cancellation & Refund Policy (Photography Services)

Reservations / Retainer

A 20% non-refundable retainer (reservation fee) is required to secure your session or event date and is applied toward your total balance. Because your date is reserved and removed from availability, the retainer is non-refundable if you cancel for any reason.

Cancellations

To cancel, you must notify us by a clear written statement (email or text is acceptable).

Refunds

If you cancel, any payments made beyond the 20% retainer will be refunded to the original payment method within 7–14 business days, unless committed costs apply (see below).

Rescheduling

One reschedule is allowed with at least 48 hours’ notice, subject to availability. The retainer may be transferred one time to a new date within 90 days of the original date.

Late Cancellations / No-Shows

Cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled start time, or failure to appear, are treated as a cancellation and the retainer is forfeited.

Committed Costs

If travel, staffing, rentals, permits, venue fees, or other pre-booked services have already been arranged for your session/event, the amounts already committed may be non-refundable and will be deducted from any refund due.

Weather / Circumstances Beyond Control

If weather or circumstances beyond either party’s control prevent the session/event from occurring as scheduled, we will reschedule to the next available date. (No additional fee.) For events where rescheduling is not possible, refunds will be evaluated case-by-case, less the non-refundable retainer and any committed costs.

Digital Deliverables

Due to the nature of digital products and delivered creative work, completed and delivered digital images/files are non-refundable.
